We are located near a nice, retail community featuring Food Front, BeeZoo Exchange kids resale store, St. Honore French Bakery, Dragonfly Cafe, and many more nice shops, as well as the nearby library. It's a great little neighborhood for an outing. We're also close to Chapman park if the weather is good and you are looking for a place to take your little ones.

ABOUT OUR SPACE:

Enjoy a family friendly shopping experience - complete with an interesting play area for the little ones, places to sit for nursing moms and visiting grandparents, a changing table, a restroom, and a staff that loves babies and is eager to help you find what you need.

We're a small store, and not a traditional one. We lease the lower floor of a condo that has not only work space but a working kitchen, which we've not yet chosen to cover up. (Come to think of it, we've never been in a traditional space!) We carry a reasonable amount of inventory, but not tons, due to space constraints, and sell a lot online so items are always moving in and out. Feel free to call ahead if you're making a special trip to buy a particular product or color of product, to be sure it is in stock, or to learn when it will arrive if it is not. We do have an option when ordering online for Store Pickup. Using this option, we will advise you of any backordered items and will contact you as soon as your order is complete and ready to be picked up. Shipping charges will, of course, be waived. For your convenience, you can have friends or family pick up your order for you.

It is not uncommon for staff to be working in the office on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If you are interested in stopping by on those days, you might want to call to see if we will be there. If someone's in the store, you're welcome to come in!

You might wonder why we are open such limited hours. We divide our outreach between retail and internet, and are just trying to balance time for both pursuits.

We are located in NW Portland, near the west end of the Fremont Bridge. We occupy a small storefront on the lower floor of a condo.

Coming over the Fremont Bridge, or from I-405 N (which is accessible from both Hwy 26 and I-5), follow the signs for Hwy 30. As you come down the west ramp of the bridge, stay in the right lane, which will put you on Vaughn Street. Come up to 24th, which has no signal, and make a left. The next right is Thurman and we’re a few spots down on the right.

If you’re coming from the Cedar Hills/Bethany/Hillsboro area, you can also come in on NW Cornell Road, which changes names to NW Lovejoy, all the way to NW 25th. Make a left onto NW 25th and come up to NW Thurman. Make a right turn and we're just a block or so up.

Bus #27 stops close to us.

Please use street parking. We regret that we don’t have a parking lot, but parking is usually not too bad. If you have a little one sleeping in the car and call us from your cell phone, we can bring your order out to you.

Resale Items:

We often have items in our resale bins. Selection varies considerably; sometimes they are well stocked, other times sparse. You can call to inquire if you wish. Besides resale items, we also offer discontinued items, prints, etc. that are new but at clearance prices. Our return policy does not cover resale items.
