Backorder Note: We are currently backordered on sizes NB and SL of Nikky Cotton diaper covers until around early February. When you place an order, we'll backorder them, not charging your card until they leave Japan via Air.

These beautifully soft 100% cotton Nikky diaper covers simply feel like lightweight, stretchable, double layered fine cotton knit. No waterproof lining; the soft cotton fibers have been specially waterproofed with a non-toxic material, so they remain breathable. Because they are a natural fiber cover, the diaper should be changed promptly when wet. Being light weight, they dry very quickly.

Babyworks Staff Notes: These are Paula's favorite diaper covers, and the cover that launched Babyworks. To her, it is hard to beat the feel of a cotton cover over a cotton diaper, and for her, the gentle care it requires was worth it. She used them exclusively with her second child, including overnight (but did change diapers if the baby woke up at night).

About Nikky Cotton Diaper Covers:

Sizing: Nikkys run true to size to slightly large. They will work for slim babies, but you might need to order a full size down. The leg openings in the newborn size might be too big if your baby has teeny legs. Their stretchiness often allows them to fit beyond the upper part of the size range.

The newborn size is cut low to allow for cord healing.

Laundering: To maintain waterproofness, these covers must be laundered gently, in a warm not hot water, with mild detergent (no bleaches or softeners; avoid Dreft®, which a number of customers found affected the waterproofness). Low temperature drying is okay. Because they are a natural fiber, they should be changed promptly when wet.
