Our Policies

You can order by telephone, on our secure website, or by mail. We accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover, personal checks, and Pay Pal (call for instructions on using Paypal).

We are currently operating as a part-time business, and are re-evaluating our products and the way we want to conduct business in the future. This is on the heels of losing our retail store space. At this time we don't have regular telephone hours, however, we do check messages and will return phone calls..

Website Mathematical Errors: We reserve the right to correct calculation errors on the website, if your order shows a price that varies from that listed for the item on the website. We'll then fix such error as quickly as possible!

Shipping & Delivery
Items in stock will ship within 2 business days. If your order has an item on backorder and it is expected in a few days, we may wait and ship the entire order together, depending on weight. We use USPS or UPS for shipping, depending on weight and package destination . We will be in communication about the expected wait on any backordered items.

Shipping Charges For Continental U.S.A.

Up to $15.00: $4.50

$15.01 – 49.99: $6.50

$50.00+: $8.50

Alaska and Hawaii, PO Boxes and APO Addresses – we usually ship first class or priority mail. This means we might get back to you to adjust shipping rates if needed for orders over 2 lbs, as our costs can escalate.

Expedited Shipping:

Just give us a call (800-422-2910) if you would like to inquire about faster shipping methods. We will give you a quote based on the package weight and destination.

Foreign orders:

We will give you a shipping quote on a case-by-case basis, depending on weight and destination. Keep in mind that your country may have additional duty charges or other fees; it is your responsibility to be aware of these.

Addresses and Unclaimed Packages:

Please be careful with your shipping address! Packages that do not make their destination or are returned to us due to an incorrect address given will incur shipping charges again to reship them. Ditto on packages returned to us because notices left by the USPS or UPS are ignored. And if you cannot get U.S. Mail at your address, please be sure we have both your U.S. Mail Address and a UPS-able address. Of course, if we make a mistake on your order, it will be on us to fix it.

Privacy & Security
We will not sell, give or otherwise trade your name or personal information to anyone else! (You might be surprised at how often this is done, even by businesses claiming to be environmentally conscious.) Also, we won’t intentionally mail you multiple copies of our catalog.

Return Policy
We choose our products carefully and stand behind them with one of the best return policies in the business! You may return most of our products for any reason within 30 days of the purchase date (or ship date on backordered items) for refund or exchange, less shipping charges. This includes items which have been washed or used. See exceptions below. Sorry, we cannot accept out-of-package (unless purchased that way), washed or used items beyond 30 days. Items in brand new, resellable condition can be taken back beyond 30 days for up to 60 days for store credit. You may wish to insure your package or use delivery confirmation for your own peace of mind. If coupons or discounts were used for the purchase, these amounts will be proportionally deducted from your refund.
IMPORTANT: Please be able to provide tracking information for your return. If you are shipping UPS/Fed Ex, you'll have this. At the Post Office, send with Delivery Confirmation. There is generally no problem, but if we do not receive your return and there is no tracking information, we are not able to offer a refund.

All Night Pants: due to their high cost, we can only accept one used pant back. Items you receive as a gift can be returned for store credit only, or exchange. Items purchased from the resale bins in our store, or items marked as sale/ clearance/discontinued, are not returnable.

A Note About Refused Shipments

If you refuse a package from UPS as a way of returning it to us, we will have to not only charge you the original shipping charge from us, but also charge you for UPS’ actual fee to return the package to us, which can be substantially higher. (Yes, we incur two shipping charges by UPS when this happens.)

Exchange Policy
Items in new condition can be exchanged for up 60 days (if it’s been longer, give us a call); used items for up to 30 days from purchase date. You pay the shipping to send items back to us.

We will pay the shipping charges one time to send you replacement diaper covers, night pants and training pants, or other very lightweight items such as clothing, in similar quantities to what you are exchanging. (This means, if you keep sending pieces back from a single order, separately, we won't continue to keep paying shipping charges to send out additional merchandise. You can call for a shipping quote; depending on weight, it may be less than our usual charges.) Beyond that, our usual shipping charges would apply for the new merchandise we’re sending to you. Keep in mind that returning diapers is costly; we’d encourage you to order samples if you are not sure which type to get.

Did you move? Change your email address? You can always change your account information here.
Coupons and Gift Certificates
On this new website, we are still working out some issues with it accepting coupon codes and gift certificates accurately. For now, please give us a call to order with a gift certificate, or send a follow up email to, instructing us to apply it. Our website does not automatically charge your credit card so we will be able to apply your gift certificate before your credit card is charged.
